Last weekend, I helped my cousin solve a technical problem with his e-commerce store. His store's backend frequently displayed the message "on-chain data synchronization timeout," which troubled him greatly. Especially during promotional periods, when the orders surged, the system would become exceptionally slow, causing customers to be unable to check logistics information in a timely manner after making payments, resulting in a large number of complaints.

Cousin helplessly stated that current public chains are either prone to congestion or have excessively high fees, which are burdensome for small-scale businesses to bear.

This situation reminds me of a blockchain project called Bitlayer. It adopts an innovative architecture known as "layered auxiliary paths." In this design, the main chain is responsible for ensuring core functions such as security and asset confirmation, while high-frequency operations like daily order processing and logistics tracking are handled by a dedicated processing layer. This way, the synchronization of dozens of orders per second in a store like my cousin's can proceed smoothly within this processing layer, just like opening a dedicated bike lane next to a busy road.

Bitlayer also introduces a "fraud proof" mechanism, allowing transactions to avoid queuing for confirmation on the main chain while maintaining reliability comparable to the main chain. Even more exciting is that this method can reduce transaction fees to about one-tenth of the original amount. When I explained this to my cousin, he excitedly said that this is simply a tailor-made solution for small merchants.

The current blockchain technology needs to return from theoretical concepts to practical applications. Just like e-commerce truly flourished only after solving the payment security issue, only when technology can effectively address the real problems of ordinary users can its true value be demonstrated.

At the moment of parting, my cousin gifted me some local specialties and told me that he had mastered the method of accessing the new system. He believes that during the next promotional event, there will be no more worries about "traffic jams" in order processing. This deeply made me realize that only those technologies that can reduce worries and improve efficiency for ordinary people can go further and more steadily in future development.

Blockchain technology is gradually moving from concept to practicality, bringing substantial changes and optimizations to various industries. Innovative solutions like Bitlayer are an important force driving this transformation. We look forward to seeing more similar technological breakthroughs that will make blockchain a practical tool serving the public.

I am a rhythm control enthusiast, sticking to doing the right things.

I will only comment this: transaction fees have decreased by 10 times, when will it be ranked on l2beat?
