New developments in the case of the dark web drug platform by former students of National Taiwan University: digital assets stolen in a hacker attack.

Gate News bot message, Dongsen News reports that there is new progress in the case of former National Taiwan University student Lin Ruixiang's dark web drug trading platform. In February 2024, Lin's Crypto Assets and NFT ( assets were stolen in a hack. The Hacker disguised as an investor, lured Lin into downloading software containing malicious programs to carry out the theft.

It is reported that Lin previously showcased his trading activities on social media, with a monthly trading volume exceeding $1 million, and he holds multiple Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs. Lin was arrested by the FBI in May 2024. Prior to this, the dark web platform he operated had been shut down and then restarted, demanding a confidentiality fee of $20,000 from users, or else their personal information would be leaked.
